Not Just Bikes loves Houten!

In the summer of 2025, Jason Slaughter of Not Just Bikes finally made a film about Houten.

And he loves the place!

He was also kind enough to put out  a call for financial support of the update and translation of Het Groen Omarmd (The Green Embraced), the original history of Houten by it’s designer, Robert Derks.

Rob first published his record of process and design values in 2013, but in 2025 we’re absolutely positive that Houten (and what makes it so successful), still has a lot more work to do both nationally and internationally.
